Perfectly Styled Thanksgiving Outfit

November 18, 2017 0 Comments

No matter what your Thanksgiving plans are you know for sure you are going to want to were something super comfortable. I always try not to eat too much during dinner so it isn’t that I need comfortable clothes for that, but more because we are always running around all day helping out, chatting, and even chasing the kids. Does anyone else do this on Thanksgiving? Therefore my Thanksgiving outfit has to be something I am super comfortable in.

I always start with my most comfortable jeans. Unfortunately, I ripped out my favorite Gap jeans, so I will probably be wearing my new Levi’s. However, even leggings would work if you want more stretch and comfort.

Also shoes are a huge thing! I am always in heels so wearing something block heels like this are easy for me, but some little booties or wedges will complete the look and not seem too casual. Unless casual is what you are going for.

I also like to wear a nice big comfy sweater over just about any outfit this time of year. You just never know how warm or cold a place is going to be and by having a large sweater you can always adjust to what you are feeling. A big scarf is also a good idea if you don’t want to wear a sweater. It will keep you warm but also can be used as a blanket in the car when traveling. You can also just stick to layering a sweater over a t-shirt so you can take it off if you get too hot.

Is anyone doing anything fun for Thanksgiving this year? Or do you have any fun traditions? I was thinking about running a 5K that day but I don’t think it is going to work out with our schedule and having to travel. So instead I think I am just going to be eating lots of food and doing a nice long run with my mom to burn off a few of those calories eaten.
