So who doesn’t love a little black dress? and you probably 50 in their closet already? So this post isn’t going to help with that problem because I found another little black dress I am in love with. I’ll be honest I don’t wear dresses a ton because I hate having to worry about it staying down and I am always cold. However, with this dress, I want to pair it with a pair of grey tights and a pair of booties.

I found this dress at Madewell and thought it was too cute. Normally I would never think about wearing this eyelet lace in the winter because normally I associate it with white or light colors and summer. However, I feel like the way this little black dress was designed and also being black it is a great winter or transition season dress. Now if you live in a colder climate or don’t want to be freezing like I was in these photos a great pair of tights will look great with it as well.
I love that this dress has lots of ruffles as well. It accentuates the feminine elements of this dress and compliments the lace nicely. However, the ruffles aren’t too big that wearing a jacket is problematic.

I am obsessed with this bag. So much so that I never wear it! I know, but I don’t want to ruin it. I refuse to take it out if there is going to be any drinking involved and I need to know all the details of the evening. Crazy person? Yes, I am aware I am. However, this bag is just too beautiful not to care about like that. Also, the quality of this bag is impeccable. I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am with it. Actually pretty much everything from Cuyana is stunning. I’m especially obsessed with their passport case (which I have with my initials on it) and large hobo bag!
I have also been wearing more hats lately! Whether they are wide brim, a beanie, or a baseball hat they all have a place in my wardrobe. Especially living in my Seattle hats keep my hair from going crazy and frizzy! I found this Rag & Bone hat at Nordstrom Rack a few months ago but didn’t buy it at the time. I kept thinking about it and when I went back to get it, they were all gone. I started searching the internet from top to bottom looking for it without spending the $200 price tag that it normally has. Fortunately, I found it on Poshmark from a seller who had never worn it!
